LATEST NEWS & EVENTS
Update as of 5/3/25 AT 5PM
ATTENTION PITTSWORTH COMMUNITY
Thank you for your patience and kindness at what can only be a challenging time for all our valued volunteers who have been working hard behind the scenes.
The 2025 Pittsworth Show is still going ahead, but in a scaled back form. Our Pavilion is still in full operation with judging of entries to take place tomorrow morning as planned, Sideshow Alley and the Animal Nursery will be in operation (weather permitting).
However, the decision has been made due to the impending weather conditions, that the following sections of the show will no longer be able to proceed for safety reasons:
- All livestock sections (Horses / Cattle / Prime Lamb / Stud Sheep / Boer Goats / Poultry / Yard Dogs)
- The Woodchop section
- Friday Night Entertainment (Rodeo)
- Saturday Night ARENA Entertainment
- Village Green Entertainment (Official Opening, Field Crop Competition / Farm Produce presentations, Fashion Parade)
At this stage we intend to continue with our fireworks display on Saturday night, at an earlier time of 7pm. However, this again will be depending on weather and road conditions.
It would be ever so appreciated for people to show kindness when making inquiries, as those who are answering the phone calls, returning texts and messages, attending to emails and in person correspondence, are volunteers, who are doing their utmost best to keep you informed as this unprecedented event unfolds.
Thank you,
Pittsworth Show Society Management Committee
